Care, custody and control
If a car has been left in your possession by a customer, you have taken ‘care, custody and control’ over that vehicle. This means that is no longer covered by the owner’s insurance and as such, becomes your responsibility.
If something then happens to the vehicle under your care, or one of your drivers harms or damages someone else’s property while operating the vehicle, your business would be held liable. We can help ensure you are covered for any resulting legal action and compensation.
